4:30 – 7:00 pm

Enabling Agriculture with ICTs: With the famine in the Horn of Africa, it’s a good time to discuss how technology can support farmers and agricultural infrastructure in developing countries, and provide both increased access to information and direct services. The ICT4D group is meeting to discuss what is currently being done and how efforts can be increased to advance agricultural stability around the world.

Tuesday, August 23
6:30 pm

DCAST #6: The DC Agile Software Testing Group will get together to discuss how to more effectively and efficiently test agile products. This month they’ll also be brainstorming locations for an upcoming field trip, so come out to chime in with your ideas.

7:00 pm

DC jQuery Meetup: This month’s jQuery meetup will feature lightning talks on topics like JavaScript testing with Qunit, an introduction to HTML5 Boilerplate, and the Regex and jQuery UI Autocomplete plugins. Come out to learn and share something with the group.
