Drupal is a very complex, flexible, and powerful application for building a wide variety of websites. Yet it is usually delivered with a several caveats about difficulty of use, confusing terminology and user interface, and warnings about misconfiguration. What would it take to fix these problems once and for all? Could we make Drupal easy to configure? Could we flatten the learning curve and make it fun? Can we empower anyone anywhere on the planet to create their own communications hub? Could Drupal save the world?
This article explores these ideas and starts to lay out a plan to accomplish them.
