Drupal Projects Showcase

Twinning is a framework for European schools to collaborate on the Internet with partner schools from Romania.

The website was built with Drupal 5 on a LAMP stack. It also makes use of the Solr search server, memcached and ffmpeg.

It features:
- romanian and english content (localizer)
- per user image galleries (a modified version of acidfree)
- per user video galleries (a modified version of op_video)
- quota management
- searching and faceted browsing (custom module which interacts with Solr)
- a forum based on smf (integrated using the smfforum module)
