The Relation module is a new way to manage things like node references and user references in Drupal 7. It is more flexible and more powerful than the solutions like References and the new Entity Reference modules, but also takes more time to set up and does not yet have a fully working widget (or any other good way of creating relations). However, this should not stop you from learning the future of Drupal site building and development.

Short article and code snippets on how to embed a View in Drupal 7. Used it today to add a display suite custom field that needed to pass a node id from a list of nodes (ie. not the node view).

I always use this on my drupal sites to aid the seo of the site, it lets me add pages that are less important for the users of my sites but I can put them in a lower hirachy tier so they dont go on the homepage but they still get picked up by the search engines becaues of the sitemap. Hope this helps some people. Free laptop with broadband

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m no usability expert, but I do know pretty quickly when a feature on a site is hard, tedious or confusing. In that same vein I’m a sucker for when things make my life easier! I can do the same amount of work in less time to get to doing the things I enjoy; which is why I love these five easy Drupal usability modules. Setup on all of them is a snap and when you’re done you’ll actually have more free time, and we all need more of that.

When LevelTen was introduced to Drupal back in 2008, I was pretty hesitant. Learning a new CMS is always tedious, but with words like “CCK,” “Nodes,” and “Modules” being thrown around the office, I thought Drupal was extremely complex. Soon, I realized these words are just fancy names for simple concepts.

CCK, Views, and Panels, are top Drupal modules we all know and love because they’re necessary for building amazing Drupal websites; but what about the modules you haven’t heard of, those little gems that can really give your site something extra? I’m going to take a look at the top 5 Drupal modules that you might not know about but are worth a look. Some of them are still in Alpha or Beta so be sure install with caution as they may not be ready for prime-time.
