Client will pay for help with htaccess issue. Need to redirect to FeedBlitz. HELP!

I need to use htaccess to redirect my clients blog feed to FeedBlitz. I know almost nothing about how to write in htaccess, I just paste in what I get from others . . .

in .htaccess I now have:
  RewriteBase /
    #custom redirects
RewriteRule blog/feed$ http://feeds.feedblitz.com/smartsculture [R=301,L]
#end custom redirects
  – - – my source for this http://httpd.apache.org/docs/trunk/rewrite/remapping.html

FeedBlitz guy said:
“Redirect is working BUT the redirection must NOT redirect to us IF the text FeedBlitz is in the requesting user agent. I suspect that exception doesn’t exist and so we’re going around in circles. “

SO, looking at the apache info again
I wrote the lines below, but they broke the redirect
Rewrite Cond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} ^FeedBlitz*
RewriteRule blog/feed$ http://kindergartenmind.com/blog/feeds [L]
RewriteRule blog/feed$ http://feeds.feedblitz.com/smartsculture [R=301,L]

I sent to FeedBlitz guy hoping for help and he said:

“The condition is wrong.
Specifically, the currently commented out rule says two things: If the user agent starts with the text FeedBlitz, redirect it to the blog URL. Two errors there. Firstly, if you have Feedburner compatibility on in the feed settings, the user agent won’t start with the string “FeedBlitz” it will start with “FeedBurner” – I’ve changed the setting so now FeeddBurner compatibility is OFF.
Secondly, the result of that rule is to redirect to the very URL that is being requested!  That’s circular and will break.
The rule should be rewritten so that if the user agent is NOT FeedBlitz then redirect to the feedblitz feed.”

I don’t understand where FeedBurner comes into it since my client is moving away from them, and I don’t know how to write this.

My client wants this fixed NOW, she will pay.
