Drupal 6 : Struggling with Mailhandler..!

Hello All,
I am struggling with Mailhandler module for some day. This module help us to create content by fetching mail from any mailbox using IMAP. It is intended to fetch all the mail coming from our registered user’s email ID and create that as content which the mailbox is attached to. Some days ago I had to import comment for the post for which notification goes and after digging around much I achieved that.(I am thankful to maintainer Dane Powell too for this)

I am giving my setting here..may be some body can help here –

Drupal – 6.26 Mailhandler – 6.x-2.4+28-dev Feeds – 6.x-1.0-beta11 Feed Import – 6.x-1.0-beta11

Mailhandler setting & problem scenario:

I have set a mailhandler mailbox with mail ID – xyz [at] gmail [dot] com Tested the connection – Ok (giving the exact number of mails in INBOX)

Created a Feed Importer and attached that to standalone to check direct import by “base_url/import” Settings:- Fetcher: Mailhandler fetcher -> Message filter: – Node Only Parser: Mailhandler IMAP stream parser -> Authentication plugin: “from” address authentication -> Other setting: Default Processor: Node Processor -> Content type: Story -> Input format: Filtered HTML Mapping: -> Subject: Title -> Body(Text): Body

I have a registered user with 123 [at] gmail [dot] com . I simply mail from 123 [at] gmail [dot] com to xyz [at] gmail [dot] com and imported by “base_url/import” It gave me result – No content get created.

Now what I did. I mailed to my user 123 [at] gmail [dot] com from xyz [at] gmail [dot] com. Then I replied the same mail from 123 [at] gmail [dot] com

Again I imported from “base_url/import”. It created a story type node.

I went back to setting and attach the feed importer to mailhandler source & waited for cron job to do this import (means again I mailed from xyz [at] gmail [dot] com to 123 [at] gmail [dot] com and replied the same from there.), but nothing got done in even 1 hour though I have set it to “as often as possible”.

I have checked the functionality of mailhandler with some different version too and even with Drupal 7. In all those attempts, I was able to connect to the mailbox but could never able to create any node by importing.

If some body can advice me some steps to create a patch which can help me to harcode the content creation of some content type after fetching the emails from one mailbox on cron run then please do…it will be so helpful.
